Campaign of Paul, Stella & Mary McCartney publicizes “Climate Change 2.0: Chomped if we want it!”
In 2009, Paul McCartney and his daughters Stella McCartney and Mary McCartney started a new environmental campaign — which today publicized an innovative effort that could alleviate concerns arising from the announcement yesterday that no solid agreement was reached as a major UN climate conference reached its conclusion in Durban, South Africa.
The new effort publicized by McCartneys’ campaign consists of an online media project that includes a video, “Climate Change 2.0: Chomped if we want it!” posted on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znWPebWBTWY.
The new project is called “Chomping Climate Change,” and it seeks to raise awareness of relatively simple changes in food and agriculture that could almost fully achieve the objectives of the UN climate conference in Durban.
The new project is for anyone interested in reversing climate change — but especially young people, as they are learning about climate change in school; their future is most at risk; and they have a common interest in exploring options.
“Chomping Climate Change” has a website that includes the new video and other resources, and can be seen at http://www.chompingclimatechange.org/. There is also a Facebook page athttp://www.facebook.com/ChompingClimateChange.
